Enrolling now for September 2024, our ASDAN Animal Care Short Course is a comprehensive program designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills needed to care for animals. This online prerecorded course consists of 20 engaging lessons that cover a wide range of topics related to animal care. Each lesson is designed to take approximately one week to complete depending on the learner's indivdual rate of progression. There is no time limit on the course. Students will have full access to all powerpoint slides used in the course, as well as additional lesson resources to enhance their learning. In addition, participants will have the opportunity to join weekly online group Zoom trouble shooting sessions, where they can ask questions and receive additional support. Upon completion of the course, students will receive full moderation and assessment, and an ASDAN certification to showcase their achievement. This course is the perfect opportunity to expand your knowledge and understanding of animal care.
 
The Short Course is split into seven modules, each containing activities based around a different aspect of animal care:
Animal investigation
Safety around animals
Looking after animals
Animals in trouble
Animals in the media
Animals and the law
Careers in working with animals
 
The course is aimed at learners aged approximately 11+ years old working at Entry level 3 to Level 1
Once enrolled on the course full access details will be emailed to the contact address given upon purchase. 
Payment is £28 per module ( approximately per month, depending on learner's speed of progression). New modules will be opened up once the previous one is complete and subsequent ones can then be purchased.
